I am truly sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Death was not God's original purpose for us. It is something for which we can never be completely prepared. The bible says:" He has even put eternity in their heart" (Ecclesiastes 3:11) He created us with the desire to live forever. And he opened the way for that desire to be fulfilled at John 3:16.
