We were so sorry to hear of Freddie's home going. We met Fred through Godfrey Onwunili, and enjoyed knowing him and his big heart. He made us laugh and we just enjoyed his company. It was great knowing he loved the Lord as we did. He is home now and is happier than ever. We loved him and will miss him till we see him someday. May God comfort you all. I pray you will let the Lord comfort you all for we will sorrow for now but He will bring joy in the morning. Praying for you.

Please accept my sincere condolences regarding the death of your loved one. During this difficult time, you can take comfort in knowing that the “hearer of prayer” Jehovah, can bring your family peace and solace in your time of grief. I hope the words found in Revelation 21:3, 4 will bring your family a measure of comfort in that soon, “death and pain will be no more.”

Isaiah 41:10: Fear thou not; For I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee: yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of righteousness.
Freddie Yates (Big Fred) was a very, very special person to the Owens family. Big Fred was there for every high and every low. He was at every picnic, at the hospital, at the church, at the house, he was just an ever present figure in our lives. His kindness, his laughter and his sincere love for God and us will never be forgotten. We don’t know who we will hide the cheese cake from now on, or who we will put up a slab of ribs for, for later on, but God knows. RIP our dear friend and brother. Love you always...........
Kimberly McGuire, Teresa Hopson, Lisa Kumar, Sheila Brown, Frances Beal, Westley, Rodney and Carl(Monique) Owens.

The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance." Psalm 16:5-6
1Thessalonians 4:
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Freddie was the most kind and gentle man I have ever met.He was a man who believed the LORD and was always speaking the WORD of GOD. Freddie has left us to go to his Heavenly inheritance and will be greatly missed but I have comfort in knowing that we will meet again. I can still hear that thunderous laughter of joy from A man who loved life, people, and most of all the LORD.

I am very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. The bible promises:
Acts 24:15 - And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
